A Republican congressman lost too!

Another incumbent representative loses a primary in Maryland. This time it's Republican Wayne Gilchrest (pictured here).

For a Republican, Gilchrest actually isn't all that conservative. And that's a big problem in a Republican primary, you see. So now he lost to a supposed "conservative's conservative" named Andy Harris.

The neat thing is, the Republicans might not win this seat in the general election now because of this! Man, that would be funny!
