Much has been said here (none of it good) about John Solomon's career in journalism. Solomon once worked for the Associated Press, where he produced hit pieces against major Democratic politicians. Until recently, he was executive editor of Sun Myung Moon's far-right Washington Times.One of the signs of the imminent closure of the Pravda on the Potomac is the fact that Solomon had failed to show up for work for days.
Now the Times has finally announced Solomon's resignation - which was effective way back on November 6.
To my knowledge, no replacement has been named. This comes at the same time 3 top Times execs were fired.
So it looks like folks in the nation's capital are going to have to start buying toilet paper again very soon.
