Former Sen. Ted Stevens, an Alaska Republican, was killed in a plane crash last night. He was 86.The legislator was defeated for reelection in 2008 after involvement in a corruption scandal.
The plane crash also killed several other people, possibly including Sean O'Keefe, who headed NASA under Bush.
