College students denied vote because officials call their dorm a hotel

No wonder assholes like Trump win. His nosebleed-deserving Tea Party thugs rig elections.

Yesterday, students at Florida Atlantic University were turned away at the polls when election officials said their dorm is actually a hotel and doesn't count as a residence.

Even if it is a hotel, why shouldn't it count a residence? How would they handle folks who do indeed live in long-term hotels?
