How does it defy social distancing guidelines to travel by car?
As the patchwork of martial law continues to grip America, a coalition of civil rights groups organized a protest against ICE in Newark, New Jersey. The thing about this protest is that it was by car. It wasn't on foot where people might break social distancing rules. The protest consisted of a motorcade of about 20 cars that circled 2 local ICE hotspots.
Guess what? Participants were ticketed even though they were clearly more than 6 feet apart, as they were in cars.
How is it even constitutional to ticket someone when they weren't even violating the guidelines?
ICE detaining so many people in crowded conditions is what really spreads viruses.
