Like father, like son, I guess.
Remember when Mad Dog Bush used to veto everything Congress did? Now GeeDumbya is carrying on his warped legacy.
The Dumpster already vetoed an earlier version of a much-needed bill to expand SCHIP, a children's health insurance program. Now he's prepared to veto a similar bill to expand this program. Oddly, the new bill was designed so he couldn't possibly have a reason to veto it, but he's about to veto it anyway.
I guess Congress severely underestimated just how far Disgeorge will go to stand in the way of progress. He used taxpayer money to bail out banks that gouged consumers, but he won't do anything to help the position of the poor and working class. But hey, he's a conservative, so what did you expect?
