Another airline merger likely to be rubber-stamped

Because this is a day ending in 'y', yet another airline merger is about to be rubber-stamped. This time, it's the "low-cost" airlines Spirit and Frontier. (I put "low-cost" in quotes for a reason. It's just like how I put "discount" in quotes when talking about "discount" stores like Kmart.)

Business "experts" worry that the Biden administration might scuttle the merger. They grumble that the administration's view is that "big is bad." Huh? The Biden regime has been as friendly to greedy corporations as any other recent presidential administration.

You can bet your bizcream that airlines will soon be demanding another taxpayer-funded bailout, even after the airlines' own actions contributed to their steep loss of business over the past 2 years. And Congress will give it to them too.
