"School" allowed to continue electric shocks

It's hard to believe, but it's true.

After all the scandal about use of electric shocks at Judge Rotenberg Educational Center - a Massachusetts gulag that houses mentally challenged, autistic, or otherwise disabled children and adults - you'd think the state would have finally put a stop to it.

But instead, the state has now approved the continued use of this torture. This after an incident last year in which a call by someone posing as an administrator caused several detainees to be awakened in the middle of the night to be shocked. One was shocked 77 times.

That the shock treatments would be reauthorized brings a whole new meaning to outrageous.

Rottenberg is claimed to be the only facility in the U.S. that uses electric shocks. However I'm sure there are others, seeing how the gulag racket likes brutality.

  1. This is an outrage. Who in their right mind would ever legalize this? Those people are human beings, not cattle! Hell, I don't even approve the use of electric shock on cattle. No living creature should be abused like that, especially the mentally handicapped.

This is infuriating. I vote we get together a group of people and go protest these bastards as well. There is absolutely no excuse for treating someone that way, ESPECIALLY when they're handicapped.

  2. I agree with mushroomkitty. I only wish the authorities would do their job and shut this place down for using cruel and unusual punishment.

I wonder when the American public will realize that they have been systematically desensitized to the process of having their freedoms taken away gradually. This is the same model used to domesticate farm animals so they are easily managable and accepting.
