Bunning throws another big fit

Everybody in my area has known for decades what an egotistical clown Jim Bunning is, but this is ridiculous.

Today, Bunning again managed to singlehandedly block the Senate from extending unemployment and health benefits. This is the second time he's done so within the past 5 days or so.

This time, the Republican senator actually blocked a request by another Republican (who apparently was worried that the party was starting to look stupid or something).

I guess this is what we get when we allow right-wing obstructionist braggarts who care only about the rich to represent us in the Senate. (I'm still waiting for the media to report the results of the 1998 recount, by the way.)
