GOP bill would ban gays from NFL

Oh, the stupid. It burns.

I guess this story is an indication that the Republican Party has given up on "rebranding" itself so people don't think they're a bunch of zillionaire bigots. Jack Burkman - a powerful Republican lobbyist in Washington - says his lobbying firm is now drafting a bill that would ban gays from playing football in the NFL. Burkman issued a statement that reads, "If the NFL has no morals and no values, then Congress must find values for it."

I swear I am not making this up. This is not an article from the Onion.

Just another day in the life of the "limited government" GOP.
