DLC mayor convicted of embezzlement

I know what the thought guardians at Free Republic are saying about this story: "omg a dummocrat got convicted lololol!" But the Democrat in this story - Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon - wasn't exactly progressive.

It was Dixon who proposed mandatory uniforms in the city's public schools. This stance is a litmus test: If you support mandatory public school uniforms, you are by definition not a progressive. I don't know how else I can say it.

In other words, Dixon is part of the DLC - the Republican wing of the Democratic Party.

The DLC is just as bogged down by criminal activity as the hated Republicans are. Now Sheila Dixon has been convicted of embezzlement for misspending hundreds of dollars in retail gift cards that were intended for the city's needy children.

According to this conviction, Dixon spent the gift cards on items such as an Xbox for herself.

Game over, Sheila.
