America must be the only so-called democracy where 3 of the 4 largest political parties are on the extreme right.

The Republicans are dominated by the Tea Party white supremacists, the Democrats by the DLC war criminals, and the Libertarians by...well, the Republicans.

The Libertarians jumped the shark when they abolished their platform plank that opposed greed-driven work-for-less laws. Now the Libertarians' tumble into the abyss is underscored further by John Pekowski, Libertarian candidate for Texas Board of Education.

Here's Pekowski's so-called agenda for "smaller government": He wants to make uniforms mandatory for public school students throughout the state, and he wants government funding of religious schools.

This guy's younger than I am, but people reading this probably think he's a bitter, aging fuddy-duddy just because his ideas are so outdated! This is the Libertarians' future?

So - in the world of today's Libertarians like Pekowski - "smaller government" means government regulation of religion and clothing. They don't support regulating Big Business, but they support regulating what people can believe and wear.

They support policing religion and attire even though such controls would be unconstitutional. But you knew that.

How can they even get away with calling themselves Libertarians?
