Antitrust laws, anyone?
Yesterday, AstraZeneca reached a deal with generic drug maker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries to keep generic versions of heartburn drug Nexium out of the U.S. market until 2014.
Paging the Justice Department: Doesn't this violate antitrust laws?
Well, it used to. These days, it doesn't seem to matter, because on antitrust issues, the modern Democrats = the Republicans. Except the Republicans are still worse, because they're more likely to give taxpayer-funded bailouts to companies that violate antitrust laws. But that's another sorryass story entirely.

Can I make copies of your book and sell it for less than you do?
ReplyDeleteSomeone else already did.
ReplyDeleteWho?
ReplyDeleteProbably the cult we all know and "love", trying to keep an eye on what I wrote about it and make sure I didn't get any money from my work.
