Busybody bawls about bikini baristas

Some people just have no lives, do they?

Because it's a day ending in 'y', a moral panic type got offended at something. And now they're trying to rid their community of this affront to their fragile sensibilities.

In Bonney Lake, Washington, some conservative stickybeak is mad as hell and she's not gonna take it anymore. What's the source of offense this time? Oscar the Grouch? Bubble gum? Crayon names like sky blue? Nope, it's none of the usual things. The woman in this story is offended by bikini-clad counter servers at independent coffee shops.

Really? Is this for real? I guess she never goes to the beach or to a public pool, if she's so distressed by this.

Like a big baby, she called the police about it - but nothing was done, because the coffee shops aren't breaking any laws. Now she's organizing a public protest this weekend against the shops!

What a shitty way to waste a Memorial Day weekend. The purpose of Memorial Day is to commemorate those who died for America's freedom. Yet the bluenose in this story has so much contempt for others' freedom that she runs to the police about activities that aren't even any of her business.

Meddlers like this need to take up a cause people give more of a damn about, like eye boogers.
