Congress just got more Democratic...again!

For the third time in this term, a Democrat has won a special election to a U.S. House seat previously held by a Republican. (The opposite hasn't happened.)

This time it's in northern Mississippi, where Democrat Travis Childers has defeated Republican Greg Davis. Davis of course is the miserable galoot who offered to have a statue honoring the founder of the Ku Klux Klan placed in his town. (This election was actually a runoff.)

Of course, the Democratic Party that's picked up these 3 seats is the same party that allows the DLC to gum up its ranks, so I doubt the improvement is as magnificent as it sounds. Still, it's always satisfying when the Republicans lose. After the way they gloated all those years, I'm going to gloat right back.
