School assailant took psychotropic drugs

Yet another school tragedy linked to psychotropic drugs.

Recently a high school student in Fresno, California, was shot and killed after he attacked a police officer who was working at the school.

Now a coroner's report has revealed that - to the surprise of nobody - the teenager had psychotropic medications in his system. His blood was full of Lexapro, and he had also been prescribed Geodon.

This is only the latest in a long line of tragedies linked not only to America's prison-like school system but also to overmedication. I just wonder how the Right is going to spin this.
