You're gonna laugh because bubble gum is mentioned.
As you may know, this is an occasional feature on this blog that generally profiles a bubble gum commercial of old. But one variation on this is commercials for cereal that came with bubble gum as a prize.
Some years ago, Lucky Charms ran a commersh that touted its inclusion of Rain-Blo Color Bubbles bubble gum. The ad appears to be from 1986 and starred a news anchor who looked a little bit like Donald Trump. But the second half of the commersh focused entirely on the gum offer...

It included a ridiculous jingle: "How big can a bubble be before a Rain-Blo bubble bursts!" Unlike today, gum ad campaigns back then used to promote the brand's bubble busting capabilities. The ad also showcases the practice that was sometimes seen back then of people holding up their hands as they bubbled.
However, the only time I ever remember seeing Color Bubbles was in college in 1994 when a classmate chomped a morsel of it. Rain-Blo and its variants apparently were available until fairly recently, but some online comments say it was discontinued not long ago - along with a couple other brands of beegee that had fallen under the same corporate umbrella. It's like when Yahoo kept taking over sites like GeoCities and then shutting them down. Not like it did Yahoo any good in the long run, as nobody uses Yahoo anymore.
Now you're laughing uncontrollably because you just read an entire entry about bubble gum.
