Airlines want to repeal refund rule

Aw, the airlines aren't making as much money as usual, the poor things.

Many flights have been canceled lately - not because the airlines feared the spread of viruses but because passengers have canceled their plans. Passengers who haven't canceled are being crammed onto more crowded flights - at a time when this is least desired. It would be better and safer to just run mostly empty flights.

Now the airline racket is begging government regulators to repeal rules that require airlines to refund customers over canceled flights. Airlines have already circumvented these rules by giving passengers credit for future travel - which expires before the end of the year - instead of refunds. Formal complaints have been already been made against airlines for this practice.

Some nobody with the airline industry said issuing refunds "is almost unbearable."

One, two, three. Aaaaaaaaaawwwwwwww!

Grow up, airlines!
