Panel finds Palin abused power in Troopergate

Gee, ya think?

I haven't seen much about this story in the pop-up media, but now the chief investigator of a bipartisan Alaska legislative panel has concluded that Failin' Palin abused her power as governor when she tried to have her former brother-in-law fired as a state trooper.

In doing so, Palin violated an important state ethics law.

That's the Republicans' idea of "reform"?

Naturally, the McCain/Palin campaign is blaming "the liberals" for the whole scandal.

But in the eyes of the blogosphere, there's nothing to see here. They're more concerned about a writer scaring them 10 years ago than in a current vice-presidential candidate abusing her power.

  1. Man, I gave her a chance but she just sucks. Banning books, then firing a librarian who was just following the law, using her authority to try to make a guy fire another guy and then fired him for not doing it. She fundraised for a confirmedly abusive teen torture camp, definitely tied in to the big oil companies, I mean that's where Alaska's money comes from and what else is next? Man, this is awful. She sucks. Doesn't really matter to me since I have decided to vote for Obama but she is crooked for only being involved with politics for such a short time period. I wonder what else she has done for that fundamentalist church of hers? She lies and isn't good at hiding it. I guess we're lucky she is so incompetent.
