Biden wipes floor with Palin in debate

Joe Biden versus Sarah Palin. I don't recall any other debate that I knew would be such a mismatch - and lived up to the hilarious expectations.

A Dan Quayle performance could hardly have been much more humiliating than what Failin' Palin showed us tonight.

The real embarrassment started when Palin began complaining about "redistribution." This was followed closely by Biden providing the smackdown of the evening when he called McCain's health care plan an "ultimate bridge to nowhere."

Later, Palin proved she didn't know what the expression "Achilles' heel" means.

If only the debate included third parties like it's s'posed, it would have been even more uproarious.

I'm not even going to wait around for the right-wing media to put its spin on it.

  1. Haven't seen it yet ... "redistribution" of what?

  2. She whined that the Obama/Biden tax plan is "redistribution" because it uses a progressive structure.

  3. The absolute best line of the night was when Biden said that McCain's health care plan to tax benefits and give an inadequate tax break in its place, "the ultimate bridge to nowhere."

  4. I only heard a little of it. The part I liked was when the moderator stated that neither Palin nor Biden Had answered the question. Ha!

It seemed like a lot of questions didn't get answered, just a bunch of throwing mud and bringing up the names of the presidential candidates. I will have to listen to the debate in its entirety before I can say that it was a total wash.

  5. I liked the "ultimate bridge to nowhere" line. Easily the line of the night.

I also liked the part where Failin' Palin said "I've only been doing this for 5 weeks!" I can't think of a more compelling reason not to vote for the GOP ticket than this blatant admission that she is far too inexperienced to be President of the US and A.

  6. Palin may be too inexperienced to be VP. What's troubling, though, is she has more executive branch experience than the two who are likely to be the next president and vice president of the United States.

  7. And Boosh had how much experience? 5 years as gov of TX? And no political experience before that...he was just a spoiled brat who got what he want in life because of his daddy.
