The corporations that paid no taxes

I think I'll become a corporation - Tim Inc. That way, I'll never have to worry about paying taxes.

As the tax burden has fallen more and more on the working poor in recent years, many major corporations have paid no taxes whatsoever.

Last year, General Electric - one of the biggest and most profitable corporations in the world - had to pay no federal taxes. This despite the fact that GE had an income of $10,300,000,000.

ExxonMobil paid corporate income taxes in other countries - but none to Uncle Sam.

Bank of America also paid nothing - despite being a recipient of generous bailout dough.

Must be their True Free Speach Now (tm), I guess.

  1. Mr. Brown,
We still haven't received your income tax return for 2009. Have you sent it yet? The deadline of April 15 is less than two weeks away. Please take care of your 2009 taxes and then my office will work with you on prior years' tax returns and a payment schedule for any back taxes you may owe. It seems you've failed to file a tax return for several years, but you may qualify for an amnesty program in which the IRS will reduce or waive any penalties as long as you (1) complete your tax returns reporting all income and (2) pay or make arrangements to pay any taxes you owe. But it's important you act quickly. The amnesty program is only offered for a limited time.

  3. Greetings Tim Brown fans! Soon you'll be able to take a break from paying your taxes and visit the new and improved Tim Brown Fan Site at allowedcloud.com! Last year the world's first Tim Brown fan site ceased operation when the greedy Google corporation cut off the site's funding by canceling its Google ads account. But thanks to President Obama and the economic stimulus, we've been bailed out and now we're back! We're working on a new format and some new features, so stay tuned for the relaunch. April is a fitting time to bring back the world's first Tim Brown fan site because as you know, it's Tim Brown Awareness Month!

As Bandit would say, point your pooper at Allowedcloud.com!
