Anti-Bush protest attacked in Oregon (a blast from the past)

We told you there was going to be more where the last entry came from, didn't we?

Late last year, peaceful anti-Bush protesters in Portland, Oregon, got another taste of Bush's trademark melding of intolerance and violence. The incident unfolded when police rode horses into the crowd on the sidewalk and almost trampled several people. The cops proceeded to unleash pepper spray and bean bags, and a man who inhaled some of the spray had an asthma attack and had to seek medical help.

Video from KGW-TV proves that one of the police officers kicked a woman for no reason.

So the modern-day Bull Connors of the world have once again let loose their wrath against peaceful demonstrators who never posed a threat to anyone. And there's gonna be more articles where this came from, so keep your eyes peeled.

  1. John Timoney is the real "modern day Bull Connor". I know you can find a lot of content on him (like when he mishandled the GOP convention and the FTAA summit).
