That comedy website known as Free Republic always cheers me up when I'm feeling sluggish!
There's some right-wing propaganda movie that just came out called 'Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed'. (Ooh, an Allowed Cloud!) One of the main themes of this film is its bogus claim that the teaching of evolution caused the Holocaust and the rise of communism. A New York Times review called the movie "a conspiracy-theory rant masquerading as investigative inquiry."
Now Freak Rethuglic's regulars have a new paranoid delusion that's as farfetched as 'Expelled' reportedly is. A Freeper posted a psycho-rant implying that Netflix is trying to suppress the film, for it doesn't seem to be available on Netflix yet. This message cries:
"I just looked up the movie, 'Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed', on Netflix. It was classified as 'Availability unknown'. ... Has this been pulled by Netflix? Did someone get an injunction against it or something? ... Seems fishy to me."
You're hilarious, Freeper person!
If they had any sense at all, they'd realize that no theatrical release (which 'Expelled' is) ever reaches Netflix or any video store if it's been out for only 2 weeks (as is the case with 'Expelled'). Duuuuuh! But Freepers are never ones to let facts stand in the way of paranoid ravings.
While they make baseless claims that 'Expelled' is being censored, the only thing that's expelled is the contents of one's bladder, as a result of excessive laughter induced by Free Republic's idiocy.

Some religious/republican friends of mine were saying "If Expelled doesn't do enough business it won't stay in theaters!!!!" and I had to point out that pretty much *all* movies work that way. If not many people go see them, they have a short run. The madness over this movie, my goodness.
