Kentucky GOP lies in ad

Because this is a day when somebody somewhere farted, the Republican Party of Kentucky lied about something.

The GOP doesn't have a chance in hell of defeating Greg Stumbo, especially after Stumbo won the United Mine Workers endorsement. That's pretty clear. But they still run TV ads criticizing him. In the latest commersh, they blamed Stumbo for a 2005 law that lets legislators count their legislative service towards their pension if they accept higher-paying government positions.

Big problem with this ad: Stumbo wasn't in the legislature in 2005.
