If Dukakis woulda won

I found a really interesting alternate history piece about what a Michael Dukakis presidency may have looked like:

The article was written with the input of the legend himself.

One thing is for certain: By 1992 in real life, I and other Dukakis supporters were saying, "We told you so." America really paid the price when it let Mad Dog Bush in the Oval Office.

It's really sad that real life didn't turn out like this beautiful narrative. The article really shows you what could've been. It literally made a tear well up in my eye.

As Dukakis himself said of the '88 election, "If I'd have beaten the old man, we'd have never had this kid and this stupid war and all."
