As some of you are aware, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) has become the public face of the Republican Party, despite - or perhaps because of - her mind-boggling idiocy.
Her coping skills aren't exactly tops either.
Now Bachmann says that if health care reform passes (which at this point is a big if), she's going to slit her wrists.
That'll show 'em!
She made this statement in Colorado while speaking to a far-right think tank called the Independence Institute. Bachmann said of health reform, "This cannot pass. What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn't pass."
Of course, the right-wing cultists in the audience cheered.
Hey, someone needs to call the cops pronto! Michele Bachmann is being a "danger to herself or others"!
At least she's covered by Congress's medical plan - something 300,000,000 other Americans don't have. If Congress had to suffer the same health care that plagues private citizens today, I guarantee you health care reform would have passed ages ago.

This reminds me of someone I know who spent a year in bed because a Republican won a presidential election.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the people who blew up stuff in the '90s because a Democrat won. At least now the Republicans are only hurting themselves.
