School district that shunned Obama speech takes kids to Bush speech

I guess the Arlington, Texas, school system figures there's not even any point anymore in hiding its right-wing leanings.

The Arlington school district refused to show Obama's speech yesterday - even with parental permission. Yet school officials plan to take kids to see George W. Bush speak live.

Because that's different, you see.

I guess the difference is this: Obama was democratically elected. Bush was nothing but a pretender and a criminal. I guess the school district prefers the latter.

A high school in Pennsylvania that had once invited Bush to speak also shunned Obama's speech. During Bush's speech, teachers were required to wear a shirt supporting Bush's No Child Left Behind law.

How transparent can our schools get?
