Lawyer wore wire in pot sting

Silly me for thinking the American legal system wasn't supposed to do things like this.

In Nebraska, the FBI had a local attorney wear a wire to catch a man allegedly running a marijuana operation from the Omaha area jail. The defendant says the lawyer wore the wire at the same time he was serving as his attorney.

For starts, the whole thing sounds like a frame-up by the FBI. Not surprising, considering the corruption that runs rampant in that agency.

But what's shocking is that a lawyer agreed to wear the wire. Attorneys aren't supposed to do this. Period.

The War on Drugs never has been about fighting drugs. It's a war on people.
