Just a quick entry here...
The right-wing Bushiganda machine is whining now because a college in Ohio provided copies of utility bills to students so they can vote (as is legal for them to do, as long as they officially reside in Ohio). The bills can be used as identification when they vote.
The college did this because ID requirements that took effect in 2006 in the Buckeye State made it too hard to vote otherwise, because many students were young and still did not have an ID card (especially if they didn't have a car). Many students were stymied when they tried to vote when the new requirements first took effect - even though they were eligible voters.
In other words, right-wing dimbulbs tried to suppress the college vote by making it harder to vote - so the college provided utility bills to use as an ID. Now the right-wing crybabies are throwing a fit because their vote suppression attempt didn't work as well as they thought it would.
