School handcuffs 4-year-olds for refusing to take nap

In the prison schools of today, kindergarten classes don't necessarily treat shrugging off nap time with kid gloves.

At one school in the Bronx, a substitute teacher for a 4-year-old kindergarten class got a school police officer to handcuff 3 little boys who were in the class. Their "crime"? They refused to sleep during nap time.

Why in the fuck does a kindergarten even need a police officer anyway? We didn't even have one at my first high school, where teenagers with knives practically ran the place.

The cop who cuffed the children told them they would never see their parents again. (What? The cops didn't waterboard them?)

Now the New York City school system is being sued by parents of 2 of the 3 boys.

This isn't the only recent incident like this in New York City. A 5-year-old boy was also cuffed by the cops at a school across town. At another school, authorities handcuffed a 10-year-old mentally challenged girl.

All this while the city's right-wing leadership keeps boasting how they've cleaned up the school system.
