Assholes oppose anti-bullying policy (and lose)

In Charlotte, North Carolina, the public school system has just adopted a policy to fight school bullying. After reading the policy, it's the type of thing you'd think nobody would be against.

But with the Republicans (the Loser Party) still around, think again.

Thankfully, the school board did approve the policy by a vote of 6 to 3. The 3 who voted against it? Republicans, of course. The assholes who opposed it were Kaye McGarry, Ken Gjertsen, and Larry Gauvreau. McGarry even called it "indoctrination."

That's 3 more extremists who have no business calling themselves human. Maybe someday they'll invent special cages to contain the noxious gases released by these 3 terrorists. And let me be completely unambiguous about this: By opposing the policy, they are being terrorists. One who backs terrorism is a terrorist. End of story.

Because the 3 Nazis on the Charlotte school board obviously hate America, why do they stay? North Carolina is much closer to international waters than my state is, so all they need is a boat and an anchor. The fact that there's 3 whole people on one school board who actually support bullying has ruined the good day I had been having with the Peace Bike.

Let's face it: The only reason anyone would oppose an anti-harassment policy like this is because they want themselves or their kids to be able to harass people. Nothing more.

But fortunately, the policy passed - and was greeted with a standing ovation by dozens of good people who attended the school board meeting, ranging from students to religious leaders. The new guidelines establish procedures for reporting harassment and provides for data to be kept on harassment incidents. And it helps provide guidance for teachers and principals who have to confront this scourge in their schools.

Hopefully the "values voter" hypocrites will be chastened a bit by this 6 to 3 vote.
