Jail tax losing too!

Yes!

That sales tax increase to pay for (of all things) a jail in Cincinnati looks like it's about to go down in flames too! It's only losing by 51% to 49%, but the prospect of it pulling ahead is looking uproariously dim!

    I'm surprised it's close. The only reason I can imagine anyone other than the cops would support it is so Hamilton County can stop paying all that money for Butler COunty to house Hamilton County prisoners.

    Now it's widened to 52% to 48%! So get ready for the laughs!

    I saw on the news today that they're not even going to count the "no touching" votes because some judge invalidated half the signatures on the petition to get it on the ballot.

    It lost 56% to 44%!

    So Cincinnatians get to keep more of their hard-earned money.
