Republican commissioner caught stealing Rolaids from IGA

Look at this screw-up!

Michael Bridinger is a Republican county commissioner in Seneca County, Ohio. But now police say Bridinger has been caught on videotape stealing Rolaids from an IGA grocery store on at least 3 separate occasions within just 10 days.

Now Bridinger is also suspected in doing the exact same thing at a Circle K convenience store! A cashier there says a man has been repeatedly stealing Rolaids from that store - and that when she saw Bridinger's picture in the paper, she recognized him and called the fuzz. At this store, the clerks would tip each other off when the thief tried stealing Rolaids and ask him, "Would you like to pay for the Rolaids you put in your pocket?" Then the thief would act like he merely forgot to pay for them.

How weird can a person possibly be to keep stealing Rolaids, of all things? Does Michael Bridinger have a Rolaids fetish and is just too embarrassed to walk up to the clerk and actually pay for the product?

So now it looks like IGA's slogan for Mr. Bridinger could be, "You're in, you're out, you're in jail." If convicted of stealing the antacid, the commissioner may face 6 months in the slammer and a $1,000 fine.
