Ohio election workers plead no contest to rigging vote

If there's one thing the Flat Earth Society is adamant about, it's that no election in modern American history has ever been rigged - at least not when the Republicans win it. You can film a county employee burning the ballots, paste each frame of the film to the outside of a paper grocery bag, and shove the bag into the face of the person denying the rigging, while their eyelids are held open by a pulley above their head - and still they'll deny it was rigged.

People should be marching in the streets over a story that just now came out, but instead it's being greeted with an empty gaze. In Cuyahoga County, Ohio, 2 election workers pleaded no contest today to charges of negligent misconduct and failure to perform official duties because they allegedly helped rig the 2004 presidential election. This is especially important because if Kerry had gotten Ohio's electoral votes, he would have won the election. Evidently, the election workers were trying to avoid a hand recount of all the votes.

This is such a clear case of Republican involvement in fixing the election that it's a wonder it's going almost unnoticed.
