Autistic 6-year-old faced felony charges after being abused at school

When you see stories like this, it's hard for this blog to describe just how out of control the school system is:

In a nutshell, here's the story: A frail 6-year-old autistic boy in Missouri was violently restrained at school by staffers for no apparent reason. While being restrained, he allegedly tried to bite one of the staffers.

When this happened, the school sought felony assault charges against the boy.

Actually, the faculty members who restrained him should have been the ones charged with assault.

One of the reasons the boy had been restrained on previous occasions was that he complained because his medication made him hungry and the school denied him his snack that he was supposed to have.

As of several days ago, the charges against the 6-year-old had been dropped. However, the school system remains out of control.
