Conservative commentator blames victims for hurricane

If you've heard of Neal Boortz, you know that of all the conservabots out there, he's one of the worst. The radio host and author got an entry on the late Conservative Fool Of The Day blog for claiming saving the rich should take priority over rescuing the poor during a major disaster and for saying poor people "can barely read."

Now Boortz has become another example of conservafool recidivism for claiming that the "primary blame" for Hurricane Katrina belongs to what he calls the "worthless parasites who lived in New Orleans" who he claims "couldn't even wipe themselves, let alone get out of the way of the water when that levee broke." On his national talk-shit show, he declared, "When these Katrina so-called refugees were scattered about the country, it was just a glorified episode of putting out the garbage."

So he's saying the hurricane victims caused the hurricane? You're an idiot, Neal.

While he accuses the city's residents of doing nothing but "sitting around on their asses and waiting for checks" before the storm, Boortz isn't exactly a hard-working guy himself. One of Boortz's major "jobs" in life was scrawling down an empty-headed book promoting a national sales tax. It became a bestseller because conservative organizations snatched up countless copies through bulk orders - not because any work actually went into writing the volume.

Boortz has made similarly vile comments regarding the hurricane's victims almost nonstop since the storm struck. He's called them "debris" and has suggested that they should turn to prostitution to make a living.

Bigotry against the poor is the theme that guides almost everything that sluices out of Neal Boortz's shit-caked little mouth. In a noteworthy right-wing diatribe in 2006, Mr. Class Warfare claimed that people who made only minimum wage are "incompetent", "ignorant", "stupid", "worthless", and "pathetic."

Where have I heard that before? I seem to remember a guy on a BBS who could barely spell saying almost exactly the same thing because a bloke he hired to mow his lawn wanted to be paid more than 10 cents. (The BBS's around here had lots of people who thought they were really smart but were really just a bunch of Freepers with half their tiny brains removed.)

Damn, the wingnuts have gotten miserable!
