The Evil Empire is on a roll, aren't they? This is the second entry today in which a conservative Republican politician has been connected to child porn.
State Del. Robert A. McKee of Maryland is a big Republican who was on Mitt Romney's presidential steering committee. The legislator ran unopposed last time, so he's really not even currently elected. (Yet another example where they tell you who you have to vote for.) In fact, he's currently not even a legislator - because this scandal has just forced him to resign.
Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant on Robert McKee's home recently after being told there was child porn in his home. Investigators confiscated 2 computers, about 30 videocassettes, and gobs of magazines and other printed material.
The 58-year-old McKee was also the executive director of the local Big Brothers Big Sisters. Needless to say, he's gone from that post too.
What a weirdo.
