Obama and McCain charging ahead!

Alright, since you want updates on the primaries, here we go...

There were a few primaries today, and I think McCain is pretty much ahead now on the wingnut party's side. So the GOP really lucked out, because Mini-Me was the only hope they had to win in November. I thought McCain was really in trouble after he won only a minority of states on Super Tuesday, but now he's charged to a commanding lead. Huckabee won Kansas, but I don't think that's enough to rescue his miserable campaign.

The Republicans' luck pretty much ends there. On the Democratic side, Clinton pretty much got demolished today by Obama. Mostly by landslide margins, no less. If Obama got beaten by that much, the media would be writing him off now, but the media won't write off Clinton just yet. Also, it looks like the Freepers' flooding of DU with pro-Hillary posts to try to sway the primaries didn't do much good.

So it looks like there's a good chance - a frigging good chance - that in November we'll see Obama versus McCain versus whoever the Greens nominate. (I'm still trying to find out how the Green primaries today went.)
