Election hijinks in progress!

Take a real quick look at this while Super Tuesday is still going on...

In an area of New Jersey that just switched from the old voting machines to the new touch machines, the machines are reportedly trying to tip the Democratic primary to Hillary Clinton. A voter who tried voting for Obama found that when he entered the booth a vote had already been marked for Clinton. So he pushed the vote button next to Obama's name on the screen - only to find his Obama vote disappear and reset to Clinton.

I remember something like this happening in my precinct in Kentucky in 2004. This was the same "election" in which the "values voters" illegally campaigned inside the polling place. This was also the "election" in which the Fred Phelps types had their idiotic constitutional amendment on the ballot. I tried voting "no" (on the second-generation old machines with the red lights), but I had to keep pressing it over and over for it to work. So who the hell knows if my vote even counted? Plus, the mechanism for write-in votes didn't work for some local contests.

But don't worry. Your vote counts. They say it counts, which means it must count, because they all know they're never wrong. (That's sarcasm!)
